Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is a legendary, nearly century-old live-music venue known as the “Home of Bob Wills” and the “Carnegie Hall of Western Swing.” Originally built in 1924 as... a garage and transformed into a dance academy by Madison “Daddy” Cain in 1930, it became the epicenter of Western swing between 1935 and 1942 thanks to Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys broadcasting daily shows from its spring-loaded maple floor.
