About Us
Since 1939, we've been serving great food, friendly hospitality, and a true taste of Route 66 from our historic café in Stroud, Oklahoma. Built from locally quarried rock during the Great Depression, our building has become one of the Mother Road's most recognizable landmarks and a favorite stop for travelers from around the world.
Whether you're joining us for one of our famous burgers, homemade pie, or simply to experience a piece of Route 66 history, we're proud to offer the same warm welcome that's greeted guests for generations. Our café even inspired the character Sally Carrera in Disney•Pixar's Cars, making us a destination for both Route 66 enthusiasts and movie fans alike.
We invite you to pull up a chair, enjoy a great meal, and become part of the story that has made Rock Cafe an Oklahoma Route 66 tradition for more than 85 years.
