Though the motel remains closed for now, its iconic gas pumps, vintage signage, and gift shop continue to carry on the spirit of the Mother Road, welcoming travelers from around the world to experience a true Route 66 landmark. Today, Roy’s enters a new phase of care and restoration, dedicated to preserving Amboy’s legacy and mid-century character for generations to come.
