About Us
Welcome to the Blue Whale of Catoosa! We're a landmark that has been greeting Route 66 travelers since the 1970s. Our giant smiling whale started as a family swimming spot and quickly became one of the most beloved photo stops on the Mother Road. Today, you can stroll along the pier, relax at our picnic tables, and browse fun souvenirs in our gift shop. We love sharing a little joy with every visitor who stops to see us, and we’re excited to keep growing with new amenities as the Route 66 Centennial approaches. Whether you’re here for history, nostalgia, or just a smile, we’re proud to be part of your journey.
