About Us
Miami’s Gateway Arch stands at the entrance to downtown, welcoming travelers along Historic Route 66. The original sign dates back to the early 1900s, when it greeted visitors arriving by rail into the heart of the city and marked the connection between the depot and downtown.
Although the original structure was removed in the 1950s, today’s arch is a faithful recreation that honors Miami’s early growth and its role as a key stop along the Mother Road. It now marks the gateway to a revitalized downtown filled with historic buildings, murals, shops, and local restaurants.
More than just a photo spot, the Gateway Arch serves as a lasting symbol of Miami’s past and its continued place along Route 66.
